Liudmyla Hanushchak-Yefimenko is a Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor, Vice-Rector for Research and International Cooperation at Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design, and Professor at the Department of Entrepreneurship and Business. She has extensive experience in academic teaching, research, and university administration. During her career, she has served as Head of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Business and Dean of the Faculty of Entrepreneurship and Law, as well as holding academic positions at Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design, the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, and European University.

She obtained a Master’s degree in Corporate Management from Vinnytsia National Technical University in 2004. In 2009, she was awarded a PhD in Economics for her research on managing the development of the innovative potential of machine-building enterprises. In 2015, she earned a Doctor of Economic Sciences degree for her study of mechanisms for managing the innovative development of entrepreneurship in Ukraine. She has also completed international professional development and training programmes in Poland and Slovakia and participated in the British Council’s Ukraine Higher Education Leadership Development Programme.

Her research interests include the innovative development of entrepreneurship, business clusters, integrated business structures, technology transfer, international cooperation between higher education institutions, and interaction between education, science, business, and government. She has contributed to numerous national and international research and educational initiatives, including projects supported by KIC Urban Mobility, INTREPID-HEI, the British Council, and DAAD.

Liudmyla Hanushchak-Yefimenko is the author of approximately 270 academic publications, including 12 monographs and 46 articles published in journals indexed in Scopus and Web of Science. She has presented her research at around 60 academic conferences, including 40 international events. Her distinctions include the Borys Paton National Prize of Ukraine and the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Prize for Young Scientists. From 2016 to 2024, she was a scholarship holder of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for young scientists.
