Viktoriya Marhasova, Doctor of Economic, Professor, Honoured Economist of Ukraine

In 1997, she graduated from Chernihiv State Institute of Economics and Management with a Specialist Diploma in Economics, majoring in Accounting and Taxation. She later obtained two additional Master’s degrees – in Management / Intellectual Property (2022) and Metrology and Information-Measuring Technology (2022).

In 2005, she defended her PhD thesis in Economics, and in 2015 – her Doctor of Sciences thesis in Economics. She was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor in 2007 and Professor in 2015.

She has 27 years of experience in research, teaching, and administrative work. Her professional record includes positions as lecturer, associate professor, professor, head of department, vice-rector for research, and director of a research institute. Since 2025, she has been serving as Director of the Office for International and Project Activities at Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design, Professor of the Department of Finance, and concurrently – Chief Research Fellow at the Department of Global Economy, National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine.

She is the author of over 180 scientific publications, including monographs, textbooks, and papers in journals indexed by Scopus and Web of Science. She has led and participated in international research projects, including Horizon 2020, Erasmus+, and Digital Europe.

Main research interests include economic and environmental security, strategic management, digital transformation, innovation ecosystems, agricultural sector development, management of intellectual capital in higher education institutions, migration processes, and higher education.
